The Tour de France, Giro d’Italia and Vuelta a Espana make up cycling’s prestigious, three week long Grand Tours.  Tour is the oldest (race has been held annually since its first edition in 1903) and generally considered the most important of the three.

Running from Saturday July 4th to Sunday July 26th 2015, the 102th Tour de France 2015 will be made up of 21 stages and will cover a total distance of 3,360km. For the sixth time Tour de France will start in Netherlands in the city of Utrecht with a short 13.7km individual time trial, then it moves to Belgium for two days and finally to France.

The 2015 Tour de France will include just 42km of time trials with 3 hilly stages, 7 mountain stages including 5 summit finishes, making it a race for the climbers. You can find more info here.

Stage 2: Sunday July 5, Utrecht – Neeltje Jans 166km

Stage 3: Monday July 6, Antwerp – Huy 154km

Stage 4: Tuesday July 7, Seriang – Cambrai 221km

Stage 5: Wednesday July 8, Cambrai – Amiens 189km

Stage 6: Thursday July 9, Amiens – Le Havre 191km

Stage 7: Friday July 10, Livarot – Fougères 190km

Stage 8: Saturday July 11, Rennes – Mûr-de-Bretagne 179km

Stage 9:Sunday July 12, Vannes – Plumelec 28km

Rest day: Monday July 13

Stage 10:  Tuesday July 14, Tarbes – La Pierre-Saint-Martin 167km

Stage 11: Wednesday July 15, Pau – Cauterets 188km
